Though Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty hasn't hit the PlayStation Store yet, we've had the privilege to run through the game and will have a full review later tonight. One of the things that we did discover after playing through the three or so hours of the game (beyond a cute little Insomniac action figure easter egg), was the final screen in the game's closing credits that confirmed exactly what we figured given Insomniac's tireless trend of pumping out a new game every year, alternating between Ratchet and Resistance entries: Ratchet will be hitting the PS3 again.

"The Adventure Continues Fall 2009" the game proudly states after revealing the return of a classic villain. Though it's entirely obvious if Insomniac is doing a full-blown game or something like Quest for Booty's bite-sized offering. We're hoping for the latter, though, going by the review of the downloadable title that will be going up in a few hours. Ratchet's full outings are action platforming bliss, but Booty? Eh, not so much...
