Activision Announces History™ Civil War: Secret Missions

An exciting prospect for gamers with really bushy beards.

Activision has announced History™ Civil War: Secret Missions for the 360, PS2, PS3, and PC, which will be coming out later this year. Here's a brief description for those of you who want to be killing other Americans in you games for a change:

"The player’s goal in HISTORY Civil War: Secret Missions is to disrupt the armies of both the North and the South by any means necessary, including conducting train raids, stealing ironclad ships, stopping enemy supply lines, destroying enemy artillery and more. All events are drawn from the real life actions of famous partisans, scouts and rangers - fight as a member of Mosby’s Rangers, Sheridan’s Scouts and Grant’s Secret Service and receive your mission commands from famous generals including Robert E. Lee, “Stonewall” Jackson, and Ulysses Grant."

This is undoubtedly good news for those of you who have always wanted to play a game where reloading your gun takes about one and a half minutes and you can play on the side that was fighting to continue the enslavement of black people. Though, to their credit, available weapons include the "shotgun, the pepperbox revolver and the coffee mill gun." If there was once criticism I had of CoD4, it was the distinct lack of coffee mill guns.
