Southpeak Announces X-Blades for Multiple Consoles
Like a cross between Sudeki and... Who am I kidding, this looks like Sudeki.

SouthPeak Games has announced X-Blades will be available for the PS3, 360, and PC. Touted as an action-adventure/hack-n-slash game, it follows the tale of Ayumi, "a brave and beautiful thrill seeker, whose obsession with hunting lost treasures lands her in a fight for her life." This is, quite literally, the description of the game, per press release:
"Ayumi, a stunningly seductive yet tenacious heroine, travels the world hunting highly coveted artifacts. After finding an ancient treasure map she sets off on the most dangerous adventure she’s ever faced and quickly finds herself outmanned and outgunned. Armed with only her fighting skill, magic spells, guns and blades, Ayumi must fend off rival treasure seekers, hordes of evil creatures and powerful dark forces in order to survive."
So it's basically Tomb Raider with big eyes and cat ears and gunblades and Final Fantasy. This is just what I wanted to slake my thirst for unique console games. If only Lara Croft could be Japanese so my socially-reclusive friends and I can stay in all day dreaming up manga involving seductive situations where she gets tied up by terrorists and can only make her way out through the use of strategically applied baby oil. Yeah, you writhe around in that chair, you bitch you.

(And yes, I think those are actually gun blades and what looks like cat ears, or a deceptively placed bow. God help us.)
