Eidos has recently announced Batman: Arkham Asylum for the 360, PS3, and PC. Per the article from Business Wire, the game will be penned by Paul Dini, and features a story involving, what else, a trap in Arkham Asylum that pits the dark knight against familiar series villains.

But since the game's feature villain is The Joker, I think the question is whether or not they're going to stick with the psychopathic, mass-murdering Joker from The Dark Knight or The Killing Joke or even that awesome Batman Beyond movie where he kidnaps and psychologically tortures Robin for the hell of it. My hopes are high, but we just have to hope that the game isn't crap like all the other recent Batman games. On a related note, I still haven't seen The Dark Knight, partly from scheduling, partly because my attention span is 22 minutes long exactly. Piss off.
